Securing your premises, adapting your activity to hygiene standards, making your premises accessible to people with reduced mobility, reducing the consumption of your equipment or replacing a professional vehicle:
the Brussels-Capital Region provides separate grants depending on the nature of the investment.

Securing the company
Do you want to protect your business, workshop, or office against theft, vandalism, or fire ? The grant can cover alarms, CCTV, security shutters and grilles, or fire protection systems. It represents 40% of eligible expenses, or 60% for micro or small businesses less than four years old, with a cap of €10,000 per calendar year. The project must cost at least €2,000, and the application must be submitted before the start of the investment.
Compliance with hygiene standards
An independent expert report can identify the equipment or facilities needed to meet a hygiene, quality, safety or environmental standard.
In the Horeca and food sectors, this may include HACCP or FASFC requirements.
The bonus covers 40% of eligible expenses, up to €40,000 per beneficiary per calendar year, for an investment of at least €5,000.
The establishment unit must meet the seniority requirement of two years.
The expert report must be obtained before the application, and the application must be submitted before the work or orders.
Investments for accessibility for people with reduced mobility, parents with strollers, and the elderly
Do you want to make your business, offices or professional premises more accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Depending on the project, improvements such as an access ramp, adapted doors, an elevator or accessible toilets may be eligible for a regional grant.
The bonus covers 50 to 70% of eligible expenses, up to €80,000 per beneficiary per calendar year, for an investment of at least €1,000.

Economic transition investments
For production, processing or handling companies, the replacement of a machine or equipment that is very energy-intensive or consumes a lot of raw materials may be eligible if the improvement is significant and justified.

For all eligible companies, targeted investments include LED lighting, lighting management, and the installation of automatic doors.
The bonus is 30% of eligible expenses and can reach 50% depending on applicable increases, up to a limit of €50,000 per calendar year.
The request is made before the investment program begins.
Low-emission mobility
The purchase of a fully electric professional utility vehicle, a cargo bike for transporting goods or a utility bike trailer may be eligible for regional aid.
For electric utility vehicles, the base rate is 5% and the ceiling is 40%, with a maximum of €16,000 per vehicle, including charging station.
For cargo bikes or trailers, the rate ranges from 40% to 70%, with a maximum of €4,000 per cargo bike and €2,000 per trailer.
These requests must be submitted within six months of the purchase invoice.
